Twickenham Stadium parking — your options compared
There’s no shortage of parking around Allianz Stadium on event days — but price, walking distance and how quickly you can get away afterwards vary a lot. Here’s an honest look at the main options, starting with ours.
1. Our car park — St Edmund’s School field, Whitton (from £19)
We open the school playing field on event days: space for around 150 cars, marshalled on arrival by volunteer parents, and all profits go to St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School PTA (registered charity 1162793) to fund the children’s education.
We’re about a mile from the stadium — a straightforward 15-20 minute walk via Whitton High Street, with pubs, cafés and takeaways on the way. And because we’re well outside the stadium’s event-day road-closure zone, you won’t be queuing at road blocks when it’s time to head home.

2. Official stadium car parks
England Rugby sells event parking for the stadium — the main option is the Rosebine Avenue car park (TW2 7PS), an off-site grass car park roughly a 10-15 minute walk from the ground, booked through the stadium’s own ticketing channels. These are convenient but typically cost more, sell out for the big internationals, and sit inside the event-day road-closure zone — so allow extra time for the exit queues after the final whistle.
3. Other school and community car parks
A few other local schools open their grounds on event days too — for example Nelson Primary School PTA (about a mile away, from £22) and Orleans Park School. They offer a similar walk and also raise money for good causes. We’re typically the cheapest of them, and because ours is one big open field, getting in and out is quick and easy.
4. Street parking
Be careful with this one. The streets immediately around the stadium fall inside an event-day controlled parking zone — bays are for permit holders only during the event window and enforcement is active. If you try your luck further out, check the signs carefully: match-day parking rules catch a lot of visitors out.
The short version
If you want a guaranteed space about a mile from the stadium, outside the road-closure zone, run by friendly parent volunteers — and you’d like your money to go to a local primary school — book your space with us. Gates close at 10pm.

Very easy to get to from the South West, off the M3, left at the roundabout, then right at the end and you are there. Easy stroll to Twickenham Stadium, but on the way is the High Street with shops, take aways, pubs, and cafes. Plenty of easy parking on the playing field which makes a picnic possible on return to the car. Nice to know that the money goes to the school. Would definitely use it again.
